Shark Week has returned to Thompson Island Brewing Company — and with it comes the return of Jawsome Sauce Blood Orange IPA.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, we’re diving into one of our favorite weeks of the year with a week-long celebration at Thompson Island in Rehoboth Beach. Join us July 8–13 for a Jawsome Sauce beer release, a local shark presentation with the Center for the Inland Bays, an outdoor showing of Jaws, Shark Week Boot Camp, and shark-themed trivia.
Whether you’re here for the beer, the science, the movie, the workout, or the trivia, Shark Week at Thompson Island is all about World Class Beer, coastal Delaware fun, and good times in the Beer Garden.
Jawsome Sauce Blood Orange IPA Release
Available July 8 on draft and in 4-packs
Jawsome Sauce Blood Orange IPA is back at Thompson Island Brewing Company. This 5.7% ABV Blood Orange IPA is swimming in copious amounts of wheat and oats for a smooth finish and strikes a fintastic balance of blood orange with hop notes of lemon, lime, orange peel, and a hint of honeydew.
Available in 4-packs and on draft beginning July 8.

Center for the Inland Bays Presentation on Local Sharks
Join us for a special Shark Week presentation with the Center for the Inland Bays, featuring local scientist Dr. Ed Hale from the University of Delaware. Dr. Hale has worked on research involving local sandbar sharks and will share insight into the sharks found in our coastal Delaware waters.
Cost: $15 donation to the Center for the Inland Bays

We’re showing Jaws outside in the Thompson Island Beer Garden. We’ll provide the beers and free popcorn — you bring your own blanket or chair.
Settle in for a summer movie night in Rehoboth Beach with World Class Beer, food from the Thompson Island kitchen, and one of the most iconic shark movies of all time.

Shark Week Boot Camp: Sweat Like You’re Being Chased
Start your Sunday with a high-energy Shark Week Boot Camp led by SoDel Well. This full-body workout is built to get your heart pumping with strength, cardio, and plenty of Shark Week energy.
