Founded in October 2019 by a group of beer loving restauranteurs, Thompson Island was named after an island in the Rehoboth Bay. A relaxed atmosphere, outdoor dining space, and large party seating make this an ideal stop for drinks, apps, and dinner!

The restaurant features a dining room, full service indoor and outdoor bars, porch, & beer garden with ping-pong and corn hole making it the perfect place to grab a quick bite, spend an afternoon with friends, or an evening out with the whole family. The homemade beer menu is extensive and offers something for everyone, including our homemade root beer and orange vanilla soda. Thompson Island also offers a curated wine list and, if preferred, fantastic craft cocktails. There are real chefs in our kitchen and our food is the tastiest around, celebrating the talents of our kitchen and the abundance of Southern Delaware.
